But Dell are a nice make. I know ASUS is as well but we all know Dell a bit more.
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

Advent 4211 netbook, google it/look on PC world, had mine for a week now and it's on XP and runs as fast as my desktop and as fast of my other 15" laptop which has vista (obviously going to be faster than that, lol)

I was about to buy the 901 also but when I saw the 4211 on pcworld.co.uk I was totally hooked, and also all you have to do is google 4211 v 901 on google (or something like that) to see that the 4211 totally owns the 901.

Agreed. Mine is running fine, so handy to do college work on the bus
It's an msi wind underneath the advent name badge, very nice
I read its actually possible to upgrade the ram to 2gb as well for only 12 pounds.
This is our situation and we're happy to be here,
I wouldn't change this place for anything.

Yeh, i'm upgrading me vista laptop to 2GB also, putting the 1GB out of this laptop into there then buying a 2GB stick off www.crucial.com

Me and my little brother have both got 4211's and nothing has not gone wrong with them, took 5 mins to setup, and when ever i come online now i always use this little 'en.
