The games forum should be deleted

I personally don't think it would still be used because it'd basically just turn into the new spam forum with the games losing the constructive edge they currently have.

Well if the game loose the constructive edge it just shows the forum is only worthwhile for spam posting to increase post count anyway as it is now which makes the forum pretty pointless and just an excuse to raise post count. With correct moderation this issue could be less of a problem also?

They aren't really that constructive. Usually it consists of posting a few words and it doesnt have a community feel to it. There isn't anything other than just posting some words, like its not as if you can get some decent and fun discussion out of it.

Only reason people post constructivly in the forum games is because they know if they can post properly they can't get their posts removed or warned/infracted etc as its on topic, spam forum is popular as people can post anything, not having to stick to the topic of the thread and can post anything they wish to within reason.

I don't see the point in that forum, all those posts can belong in a regular forum. Keeping it is just asking for trouble, it is just a glorified spam forum

It does seem quite logical that post count shouldn't increase in that forum as it is a key place for people to attempt to pointlessly raise their post count. I'll bring this up with the management as I do agree post count should be disabled however it is used and liked by quite a few people so in my opinion it shouldn't be deleted totally.

Have agreed with the above from the start but it's never happened for reasons that are beyond me.

Whether they're used for free post counts or not.. why do you care? Are you jealous that they have a higher post count then you? Does it really bother you that much? It's a post count, that's it. It doesn't make them better then you because they have a high number next to their name. If you want a higher post count, join into the games too and then maybe you'll be the one with the higher post count.

Basically, a post count is a post count - bottom line.
It doesn't affect me whatsoever if I have less posts then the next guy because he spammed.

It shouldn't be deleted, just moved to a sub-forum in spam. The amount of users that spam it up to raise their post count is ridiculous. I don't think its right when having a higher post count grants you to larger avatar sizes, etc.
