It's probably best to wait until the film is out to judge I guess. But I really can't see him being that good. He's not exactly funny nor serious. He's only good for kids and singing

It was initially reported that Zac Efron would be staring in fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie and receiving £6 Million for the role,[52][53] however when interviewed by MTV, Efron confirmed it was simply a rumour (which originated from The National Enquirer).[54]
