ExactlyThat isn't the way it works.
Anything made by anyone in the UK is automatically copyrighted. Obviously, the images of the Habbo and such don't count because they are Sulakes, however if there are any alts in it they can take legal action, but why would you over something this silly. Just get their host to shut them down, easy.
lol at the replies to this fred.
dom stated they stole the banner and background off habbox and it's identical yet you insist they probs didn't know about it?
Only thing you can do is email their host. It's not a copyright issue as far as I am aware because Habbo technically own their images, and because the Habbox banner clearly has "Habbo" in the name and images of Habbo Hotel, Habbox have no legal right to the images. But I'd imagine official fansites can over-rule this rule.

Maybe the owner doesnt know but the person who made the skin is the one who is stupid lol
To be honest, I kind of think this is ridiculous, they may have stolen the banner and the background but more then likely they weren't copyrighted at all. As someone said before I could easily put my copyright on it and say it was mine, however, you should email the host of their site to get them closed down, on the other hand though, you may need a translator(Use Google Translator)
I'm sticking with GommeInc on this issue as I don't think its a copyright issue. The owners of the site obviously knew that they were taking stuff from Habbox.com but personally I just think its a bit sad because everyones fussing over it. Its not really up to us to deal with this problem, its more managements problem (mainly Nvrspk4's)
Thats my opinion anyway...
Maybe the owner didn't know, yeah true.
Alterations are copyright to Sulake btw, any alteration of a copyright Habbo image will always be theirs.
I just want to know what you're all getting worked up about, first of all Habbo have copyright but why do you even care? They're not making money from the site and they're not a competitor to Habbox so you may as well leave them be.
You couldn't take court action, contacting the host would be the best choice, I wouldn't bother translating as translation software is poor and why should we go out the way for them when English is the most common language on the Internet?
I suggest you don't waste your time and ignore them, there's better things we could all be getting on with.
