    Ie; Hamilton, London 2012 etc

So we may as well add Manchester had the Commonwealth Games, which is quite incredible to see your country hold both the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics. We also won the Rugby world cup, and we got to the final four years later. We won the Ashes. We also saw Leona Lewis make it massive in the USA.
Australia has held the Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games... actually, we held the Olympics twice? !
The Commonwealth and Olympic games within 8 years of each other.

Melbourne has held both of the games.

Australia won in a white wash the Ashes against England.

    Has the Veronicas.

One of the most successful tennis duo ever - Mark Woodbridge and Todd Woodforde.

For a nation that is not popular in soccer, we got to the semi finals in the world cup. Got jibbed by Italy for a dive :eusa_wall.

Held the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

Only team to win the Rugby World Cup twice.

    Sure is.

We also have the Gold Coast, sorrounded by the ocean. Only country/continent in the world. (The content Australia is on is called Australia).

We own the biggest part of Antarctica.
