    Is there really any difference between the SSC, Superclocked and FTW editions?

    They are overclocked as stock. The SSC comes with a 626MHz core and the FTW comes with a 666MHz core.

    The PCI-E power connectors are not on the side of the card that is facing the front of the case. They are on the side pointing towards the side panel so you should be fine
