    Seriously everyone sthu.

We've established that this isn't an amazing alt. However if it's your first attempt, don't give up. I would think character alts would be hard (I've never even bothered trying one ). Maybe you should start with something simple to get the hang of the "rules" of pixel art. Perhaps you could make a table to start with, have a go at shading it. Then make something to put on the table, I don't know, a plant or a box, anything!

The most important thing to remember is that your alts need to be iscometric. By that I mean the view of it. Notice how everything on Habbo is diagonal? Well that's how your alts should be.

When you're making an alt make sure to save it correctly. I use MS Paint for my work, so as I go along, I save it was a "24-bit Bitmap" image but once complete, you must save it as a ".PNG".

If you've been using Paint, your alt will probably have a white background. To get rid of this, go to www.iaza.com and upload your image. Then select "Transparrency" on the right-hand side. Now click a white area (or whatever colour the background is you wish to remove) and click "Next" or "OK" (whatever the button says ). Now you will have a transparrent image which you can right-click on and then save. (It will now be a ".GIF" image as you have made it transparrent, but that is OK .

Next, go to www.imageshack.us and upload your final alteration once more. Get the link and post it here for all to see!!!!

Robald. You don't need to make art transparent. That's pretty bad to say. And what's exactly wrong with using paint again?

Also, heres a protip: Never save as PNG on paint. ***** with the quality. Save as BMP then use a software or website and use that to convert to PNG.

Lastly, this alt is pretty terrible. I'm being honest - don't go out on a rag at me for honesty and accept my comment.

If rhysd didnt scrap his tutorial I'd send you a link to that.

Try Gas13's (If the site is in Russian, click the Great Britain flag in top left.) http://gas13.ru/v3/tutorials/sywtbap...grass_tile.php

But yeah, way to **** up my childhood, a spongebob with boobs?
