Simply because it's easy to type. It's like Google.com, atobeto is easy to typpe. I was trying to get a "Point A to B" going, but I couldn't help typing e by the be so that'd be an instinct for some people. A to be to A to be to. It simply... repeats, a loop, point A to be to A to be to A.

In all seriousness, there are to many search engines out there and I doubt yours is different. Even large companies with millions of dollars to spend like yahoo, ask.com, etc. can't keep up with google. I doubt yours is going to break any barriers.

discov.er is a great suggestion and it's not taken, I',m sure anyone who buys it would be able to sell it for a hefty price.

.ER isn't a publicly available extension, has to have the likes of .com in front of it (discov.com.er). Also Yahoo don't spend millions to keep up with Google, they are actually pretty equal over the board.

Also Pyroka the domain isn't that nice and it's too confusing to explain the name and the spelling of it isn't very user friendly.

Don't have any suggestions myself, pretty hard to come up with something for a search engine as there is so many of them.
