How did you get MC:LA free? I enjoyed NFS on PS2 but I like free roam. Which one has free roam, MC:LA or NFS?

After playing both I prefur Midnight Club LA. However, it is a lot harder and the graphics aren't as good but it's still better in my opinion. Anyway, Add me on PS3 I'll PM You my addy.
