What's he going to do? Buy a new motherboard?

I tried that, still the same thing.

If I can't fix this tomorrow I'll phone up Dell Support (*Shudders*) and if they give me a load of ******** then I will moan at them then if they still won't do anything about it I will then buy a new MB and Case and migrate most of the stuff over to that and have a new PC.

Chris, if it had a Dell BIOS you should have flashed it before you upgraded.

Yea, cos you were under a business account they treat companies better than home users I'll moan at them if I get bad support

I'm under a normal account, and have been for years.. and have always received great service from Dell.

I think one call went bad, because the stupid little operator being held against his will and forced to do technical service calls couldn't speak English.. so I just called back and got a nice American speaking guy.

I remember calling them before they enclosed Dell System Recovery disks with their PCs, and the guy said he'd be nice and dispatch a free set to us via UPS Next-Day air.

    Always had great service@
