Get to know him more, then get into a convo about sexuality and tell him your gay. If he feels comfortable about it, he will tell you what he is

    Is this a trick question

well il tell you what happens...

Obviously ask them. Or barring that, seeing them engage in sexual activity with someone of the same sex. However, most sex experts would say that isolated events of sexuality with the same sex hardly makes someone gay or bisexual...generally it is the attraction to the same sex. If someone is attracted to the same gender and not to the opposite gender, they are gay. Attracted to both=bisexual. It is sort of why people in unique situations arent considered gay for having sex with the same gender (in prison for example) because they are simply having sex, but are not attracted to whom they are sexing up.
