It looks fine for simple tasks and such. You wont need a dedicated graphics card for what your going to use it for.

- AMD Phenom X3 Triple Core 8650 2.3GHz Processor
- AMD 690V Motherboard
- ATi Radeon X1250 Graphics (SMA)
- 4GB PC2-5300 667MHz DDR2 Memory
- 750GB Serial ATA II Hard Drive
- 20x Serial ATA DVDRW
- High Definition 8 Channel 7.1 Sound
- 1000MBps LAN
- Zen Midi Tower Chassis with PSU
£293 from www.aria.co.uk
I think thats pretty good for the price, its got the ram and HD size more than I need.
They have another;
- AMD Phenom X3 Triple Core 8450+ 2.1GHz Processor
- AMD 690V Motherboard
- ATi Radeon X1250 Graphics (SMA)
- 4GB PC2-6400 800MHz DDR2 Memory
- 500GB Serial ATA II Hard Drive
- 20x Serial ATA DVDRW
- High Definition 5.1 Sound
- 1000MBps LAN
- Zen Midi Tower Chassis with PSU
Not sure if the processor is as good but the HD and ram again is good for me.
This one is £264 so for the extra £30, I'd rather go for a better processor (if there is much of a difference).
Would the graphics card on them let me connect it to my TV? What wire would I need? ?? > hdmi
Yeah, it's good for the price.

Yeah they are good for the prices. Google the GFX card name to see if it has a HDMI connection.
Think I'll get that then.. it's better than my laptop atm and theres nothing wrong with it. I've had it for 2 years now though, only got 1gb ram and the processor is 2.01 (thats all I go of, lmao).
So it's considerably better and my laptop isn't slow, it's fast enough for what I want it to do.
They don't supply OS's with them systems but you can buy one, they only send you the disc though.
I've reinstalled XP on my laptop plenty of times, but thats after a reformat. Would I just pop the disc in and it would start up with the installation? I presume it would lol.
Is the graphics card standard? It's not very suckish is it, like I said earlier it doesn't need to be great for gaming but at least acceptable for something low-end of gaming, eg The Sims or something.
Would I also be able to connect it to my TV or is it integreted? Or can I connect it even if it is integrated?
edit;
I seen this;

The guy says it's got HDMI output, so would I need HDMI>HDMI wire? Or would it connect via something else to my TV?

I read about and they said it's integrated as well.
So it would be VGA > HDMI cable for my TV, what about my monitor? Or could I not have two running at the same time, if I get a monitor which is VGA, I take it its VGA > VGA etc.
Nick, is the graphics card like average? Although it's integrated and such would it be acceptable for general PC usage because some sites I've read they say it's sucky, but I don't need it for hardcore gaming or anything, watching videos, browsing etc is only thing I'd need it for..
Would it be simple to change from integrated to dedicated in the future? Say if it isn't upto what I need it for, or would I have to change something else?
Thankssss.![]()
Would only be able to be connected to one VDU at a time. It's fine for general web browsing and media use, but not games at all. Should be easy to upgrade to a better card in the future.I read about and they said it's integrated as well.

Ah, thats great. I'm not too fussed about only being able to connect at one point, is it just a case of swapping the cables over I suppose though?
I won't be needing it for games at all, I never play games on PC, I have an Xbox and such.
If I can always upgrade and it's not hard work, because it's integrated or whatever then thats great and all.
Last question: would any monitor be okay with it, is it just the wire I need to get?
So say my monitor is DVI output, and my graphics card is VGA, would I buy the VGA > DVI I gather?
I'll be done soon, haha.
Thanks all.![]()
