It use to work quite well, and it was first introduced when I ran the first free lottery. It could work again, but not with such high stakes of 100 HCs.
    Yeh I agree with that!
Maybe use credits? Or a HC is worth 4 tickets or something.
    I love it when you
    flex like that

    Yeh.

Perhaps it could be started at five credits a ticket, with 200 credit prize or something.

Then if it goes well, the stakes get raised etc.

But as you say a bigger winning, will attract more people - But I would love to be able to do it regularly!

I mean you could make it 0.5 per ticket (dicemaster / oil lamp) etc but the thing is who the hell wants to win them, lol. Using a HC per ticket makes the most sense. Say there was an 100HC one monthly then Habbox could even keep 10HC to fund a couple of extra events and make the grand jackpot 60hc or something.

Na wouldnt make a difference how many tickets you get for the hc, it would just make the numbers higher.

E.G. If ten people bought a ticket. Thats 10 numbers used.
Or 10 people buy a tickey. Thats forty nukbers.

But the odd's will still be the same.

However some people may not realise this and think its a better deal!

I'm fairly sure Yonder had a hand in designing the lottery system for Habbox, and from memory Habbox kept 20% of the club sofas, and the winner got the 80%. Winning a lot of club sofas is a good prize and the 20% can boost prizes for other departments at Habbox. But I still do think 100 club sofas is too many, unless it was monthly.

I think the 100HC one would get people talking and it could spread via the word of mouth. Say they kept 15HC out of the 100 the main winner could get something like 70HC and the rest could be used for runner up prizes.

    Agreed.

    ----

Perhaps a smaller one could be done inbetween the month, and if you buy four tickets to the large one you get automatically put in a smaller draw

Maybe Habbox could try it again, and start will a smaller amount, like 30 or 40 and see how it goes, and if it's successful increase the stakes

I still don't think people would like the idea of paying a HC lol
Jake could argue that he would but we all know HCs are like rubber ducks to the habbo tycoon that is Immenseman

Or they could do this big monthly one and keep the free lottery (if that still exists). I think it should be tried for February and if they don't sell enough tickets they can either go ahead or just refund everyone, wouldn't take long. Would give management a general idea of how many people are interested.
