As people have said, they don't contain anything overly confidential anyway, just C+P's of informal warnings which you will have already received via PM anyway

In some cases, peoples' usernotes contain moderator to moderator communications such as unbans, last chances, ways to deal with the user, etc.

For example, if Bomb-Head has a previous history of being banned but got unbanned because the perm was decided as overly harsh, it might be noted there that he is on his "last chance". Certain usernotes like that involve communication from moderator to moderator that, in the interests of letting Moderators communicate all information to each other, can't be seen by the users.

What your usernotes basically serve for are to give moderators an idea of how to handle you when you break certain rules, they see oh they've done this, and they've had a severe warning for such and such, but they haven't broken this rule yet.

But if you're a bad kid you might have "Any bullying should be reported to nvrspk4 or Bomb-Head immediately" and therefore it gives moderators an idea of who to contact and how to deal with it, whereas Bomb-Head and I can't monitor all the people being watched for bullying.
It costs nothing to be a good friend.
