I popped into my local Apple store today and they think their delivery of new Shuffles will arrive tomorrow. So... I couldn't test one out with a different headset, but I'll sure try tomorrow.

Many people in my school have their headphones in their jumper though, so they have to 'click their chest' 3 times to change the song.

Its butt ugly, nothing wrong with the 2nd Gen one.

Notice how now only the Nano 'Chromatic' has coloured versions instead of Silver/Black.

Is that because you are all well 'ard rebels trying to hide the fact you are listening to the music in class? I fail to see why you would need to listen to an iPod at school unless you were socially ******ed. *shrug*

How is it butt ugly? It's the smallest, sleekest Shuffle design yet. The clip is a work of genius. Besides, it's so small you won't be able to moan about it being so plain. I love the Bauhaus look and feel to it.

Notice how the Shuffle fits in with the rest of Apple's product line re colour schemes? It's possible coloured ones might make their appearance at some point in the future, but it's irrelevant. Besides, the Nano is a different product and that is one selling point to send it to the masses. Oh noes, the iPod Classic is only black or silver. *faint*

Some people work better with music, I know I do. Some people also find lessons riduculously boring so they end up listening to their iPod..

And it's those people I have no time or respect for. Boring or not, people don't go to school to **** around. If permission is granted to listen to music, then I don't see why the headphone cord needs to be underneath a jumper, quite frankly. If permission isn't given to listen to music, I'll openly call that person an annoying toss pot unless they achieve straight A*s.

This is best for people who are working out, don't really need to change tracks, etc. Love the minimalist design. However, not so good for those who need to change it often.

This post pretty much sums up what I was going to say. Apart from the design. I don't like the emptiness of it.
