Teething problems. Every new ride has them. They were only stranded on the brake run.

No that was only installed 3 years ago! Fairly unreliable though.

When I went Thorpe Park every single ride broke down at least once during the day, it just happens. Alton & Thorpe are both owned by the same company so does it matter if they've got similar rides at each park?

Gives people the opportunity of experiencing the same sort of ride... despite Oblivion is probably a very different experience, it's all about the setting.

Tbh, only ride ever broken when i've been to tp & alton towers was The giant swingy one at thorpe park (names forgotten) & this was because a peice of metal had fallen off a few days before, nothing major though.

So 1 out of about 20 visits with 1 problem, Not bad.
