Well, after 4 valiant victories I bowed out of the Carling Cup with Leeds United, losing 6-3 to Chelsea in the quarter-finals dispite battling to the very end.
Dispite being without a win in 4, I'm ecstatic that I managed to score 3 against a full strength Chelsea side.
P.S: Sorry for double post.
I wanted him and they just wouldnt accept any lower lol.
i just bought keirrson hes decent and i have saivet and i just sold pato lol gona let him get good and buy him again, he was never getting a game for me and no one would take him on loan
Justice for the 96

Decent stats there - all I'd say is get in a couple decent, cheap players on loan (maybe some veterans, depending on how good their fitness is) and you could improve your chances of survival. Here are my edited stats, this is now after 18 league games. Every other team apart from me and Hartlepool have played 19, and I have a game in hand and if I win it I can leap from 7th (had a bad dip in form recently) to 2nd. That's how tight it is at the topI'm Leeds too Twist, here's my stats so far:

Carling Cup: ELIMINATED Quarter-Finals - 6-3 to Chelsea - beaten Stockport 3-0, Wigan 5-4 on pens, and Bolton 1-0
Biggest friendly win: 6-1 vs Guiseley
Biggest league win: 4-0 vs Crewe, 4-0 vs Carlisle
Biggest cup win: 3-0 vs Stockport (Carling Cup 1st Round)
Biggest friendly loss: 2-1 vs Bristol City
Biggest league loss: 4-2 vs Brighton
Biggest cup loss: 6-3 vs Chelsea (Carling Cup Quarter-Finals)
Top scorer: Jermaine Beckford 16 (10 league goals, 6 cup)
Top assist scorer: Pat McCourt 11 (10 league assists, 1 cup)
Transfers IN: Michael Higdon (40k from Falkirk), Pat McCourt (Loan from Celtic), Jackie McNamara (55k from Falkirk), Brian Saah (40k from Leyton Orient).
Transfers OUT: Neil Kilkenny (110k to Burnley).
Injuries (4): Casper Ankergren GK - 6-7 weeks (Back strain), Richard Naylor CB - 3 weeks (Pulled hamstring), Pat McCourt CM - 1-4 days (Calf strain), Nathan Cartman CM - 2-3 weeks (Thigh strain).
As you can see my Number 1 choice keeper is out for 6-7 weeks, and he didn't play in the Carling Cup Quarter-Final loss against Chelsea so I'm having to use my Number 2 choice keeper David Lucas as of late.
Just won my game in hand against Hartlepool 3-0 - Robinson, Beckford (pen) and Snodgrass with the goals to take me up to 2nd in the table with 35 pts and a +17 GD.
Just finished my first season, got to the quarters of the CL but finished just outside of the CL spots in La Liga which was fairly ****.
Barca offered me £14m for Nihat but he was on fire at the time so I rejected, hoping they'll come in again as I could probably find better now. Real offered £20m for Rossi as well but he's going nowhere.
Davide Santon is a steal at £1m, he's unreal for me.
Premiership: 15th - 19 points
FA Cup: Not currently entered
Carling Cup: Not currently entered
Transfers In: Michael Owen - £5, Bobo Blade £200K, Míchel Salgado £300K, Nolberto Solano £425K, Jamie O'Hara Part-Ex
Transfers Out: Marlon Harewood > Fulham - £5M, Nigel Reo-Coker > Man City - £3.8M, Elliot Parish > Blackpool £55K, Brad Guzan > PSV (Loan) - £130K, Adam McGurk > York - £30K, Gareth Barry > Liverpool - £15M, James Milner > Tottenham - £10M & Jamie O'Hara, Carlos Cuellar £11.75M, Ashley Young £14.75
Didn't want to sell Barry, Young, Cuellar & Milner, they wanted to leave, but for £51M + Jamie O'Hara, I'm not too fussed.

oh my, i was soo sooo lucky earlier, last game of the season.
we (man city) were 3rd
Chelsea 4th
and Liverpool 5th
I was 1 point ahead of those 2.
Last game of the season, Chelsea were leading 2-0 at home at half time so were easily through to CL. Anyway, Petrov pen on 57th minute and scores 1-0 v Hull. Then Torres for Liverppol scored in the 88th minute meaning I HAD to win. So yeh, 5 minutes of stoppage time, i was like PLEASEEEEEEE they scored in the 4th minute of stoppage time!!!! I was like NOOOO!!! anyway, what happens? Bojinov comes in and scores in the 6th minute I WAS LIKE LEGGGGGENNNNNNDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
soo lucky, ended up with probably Marcelo as played of the season - legend. Jo was top scorer but I didn't think he did THAT well. Petrov got most assits.
TIP: Play Petrov upfront.... he's quality.
My team at the end of the season but brought in Moya from Mallorca(Keeper) and Jagielka for cover at CB. but my starting Xl for end of season has gotta be.....
Hart
Zab Richards Kompany Marcelo
SWP Diarra Matias Fernandez Zhirkov
Rossi Petrov
Manchester City
Oxford United
Woodley sports
y'know.
