Im a newbie to xbox 360 and like you I decided to pack in playing the wii for the far superior 360 lol, i was only 2 years too late (too much of a nintendo fanboy for too long), but neways my mum refused to let me trade in the wii and so gave me the rest of the money for the 360 = win win, so now my Wii is in storage for the next zelda / mario game, neways once again i would highly recommend getting the halo 3 DLC's, heroic is free so if I were you I would DL it straight away, legendary is well worth 600 points as blackout is matchmaking/team swat heaven and avalanche is great for social big team / custom games. I would also reccomend buying halo wars just for the mythic map packs or do as I did and buy the code off someone on ebay, but its well worth it for sandbox alone. One last thing about halo 3, if you havent already find urself a massive custom game community, its so much better than matchmaking for a good laugh and great games

If your in to the ww2 shooter get cod5 if not and bit of a modern fighter get to cod4 also GRID is a good racing game if you wanted one
