When I was getting prank calls by a friend WAY back in Junior school, they were just ringing up saying hello in a stupid voice and then hanging up.

I got my Dad to answer just like it was a normal phone. Even to this day (I speak to her everyday) she doesn't know it was my Dad, she thought it was the new owner of my phone / wrong number.

Firstly, thank God she's out of that relationship. No-one wants to go out with what appears to be a 14 year old with social problems.

Secondly, I would answer it and tell them to grow up. I'm not sure if you can report such calls to the police or another figure of that sort of status, you may need to Google around.

EDIT: Yoshi said something about police and harassment, hopefully it'll come under that because in some areas they claims it to be out of their control, like if two neighbours were bickering but not causing any harm to each other.

Police and get caller ID on your phone. When people fone it will show the number that is ringing you. You can also block the number.

Call the police, tell them there threatening you. The police will put a injunction or w.e on them then if they come near you they will be arrested.

Keep a record of each call recieved, and keep any text messages if any have been sent.

Call your local police, he can be warned under the Harassment Act once your sister makes a statement, and if he continues then he can be arrested for it.
