Exactly what I was about to post... :S:S It's only saying he isn't hosting the show, he will still be judging..

In the past, the show has been run and organised by Simon, all it's saying is that Cheryl will be doing this now..

Simon Cowell has decided that The X Factor can live on without him following Cheryl Cole's success on the show, a report claims.

The music mogul has apparently hinted that the forthcoming sixth series could be his last after Cole became a hit with viewers last year.

"My hope is that she can carry the show in the future," Cowell is quoted by The Mirror as saying.

A source told the newspaper: "With his 50th birthday around the corner it would be the perfect time to hand over. Cheryl has proved she has what it takes.

"Simon doesn't need to host the show. X Factor made him a global star with a substantial bank balance. Now it is time for him to sit back a bit and enjoy the fruits of his labour."

Cole was the winning mentor on last year's series, guiding Alexandra Burke to victory. She is expected to return alongside Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh later this year.

All of us capable readers already got that he is coming back this year, but some of the more experienced readers managed to pick up that after this year he may not.
