That would be absolutely correct for the Japanese voice actor, but the American guy emphasizes on words too much and makes L sound more lively than he should be to be honest. His voice isn't montonous enough.

Most of the time. -_- Seriously, I watched the whole series dubbed. Couldn't stand his voice, but to each his own.

One Piece, DBZ, FMA, Black cat. All happen to funimation. If its dubbed by any other company i usually wont give it a chance because i know it will be crap

Jord is coming out with all the typical excuses.. the people i dub (pun intended) Lazy.
Nothing wrong with dubs. Just when they come out with there crap excuses..

The thing i hate the most is when they defend the dub over the sub and say its better. for example. Death note, bleach, naruto dubs are all crap.. compared to the subs. yet they defend them. Jord defended 4kids version of one piece against another dub that was 90% the same as the sub.. Tho there are dubs that are better in english for example Dragonball Z. I prefer the music and voice acting. but i still like the sub.

Anyway.. since this is a FMA thread less than a week till the new FMA. Waiting for the next FMA box set to come out aswell. watch 16 eps dub and sub watched the movie and was all confused guessing i shouldnt have lol

I aint making up excuses, I dont like sub because I like to post on habbox and do other stuff while watching anime, Computer screens are not 30 inchs so I dont need to turn my head just to see whats going on, I can see the whole screen and I can see whats going on without my eyes on it

I seem to be the only person who liked the Death Note dub . I thought the voice for Ryuzaki was a good choice... it fit's his character. And most the other characters have good voice actors... but characters like Mello weren't so good.

You hate subs because you need to read subtitles, and you prefer dubs because you wanna listen to the voices and watch bits of it while you post on the forum, what's point in watching Anime if it's just to listen to, that's why you should sit down and watch subs, it isn't hard to read subtitles when you're actually watching it, but you always post too. Subs > dubs.

No becuase I watch alot of anime and I dont want to do nothing while watching anime. as I said in my first part of this post I can still see the whole of the screen and I can see whats going on while watching dubbed

The show is getting a reboot! Look forward, I'm totally watching the premiere on April 4th. ;-)

Yes, they are rebooting the series. Since the Anime was being made the same time the manga was still in the making, the anime diverted from the manga by A LOT. You'll be surprised to see whats coming up/whats not.


But in a nutshell, this reboot will be closely related to the manga.

see so youll be waiting maybe a year before the dvds start coming out. where as you could watch it weekly. anyway. Death note. Dub L annoyed me. Sub L was awesome and was also the voice of Usopp from one piece lol but yes New fma ill be watching but im more excited for Dragonball Kai.

I hate american shows like that now.. use to like lost but bleh. not my thing. well you have fun with them and we'll all have fun with FMA. lol. Hopefully theres a fast sub group.
