Just leave him be, if he wants to buy directly from Apple then that his choice. If he doesnt want to save a bit of money from buying off Amazon then it's his loss.

I want to buy directly from apple because I do. All I wanted to know is should I get one and if so what apps should I get?
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

Chris, For you're own sake, buy extended warranty. my iTouch recently broke and It's going to cost me 200£ to repair, if I had extended warrenty it would have cost nothing and i'm only two months out.

All fair and good if you want to buy directly from Apple, but nothing will change.

Amazon is just about like Apple's service, except they don't manufacture them - so a saving is a good idea.

You do realise Amazon are selling it just as Apple do, still freshly shrinkwrapped and everything, probably from an Apple warehouse...?

Apple may repackage a used one and sell it like Amazon so mehh

you may as well just buy a brand new one. I can't imagine any of the components in the iPod touch costing £200.
    That went fast.
