The people who are just after fame and attention, ignore them. I have and it doesn't spoil the game if you ignore them. If you let them get to you it does give you the impression of stuck up nerds on Habbo who think they are amazing when in reality, they sit in at lunch times in school playing Habbo.

As for trading, I do think it has declined slightly but as a hotel at the moment we're richest we've ever been so it isn't all bad if you miss trading. If your looking to be negative about Habbo then theres loads of negative things to pick out, but if you just play it and ignore what you dont like then its not a bad game. At least on Habbo you can talk about outside things to people rather than on other games such as Runescape where all people talk about is the actual game itself.

Exactly, just because they are rich and E-famous in a Virtual world environment that doesn't mean that there better then anyone else. They are just small minded people if you ask me and the only thing they have which some people haven't got is just furniture and what's that lol? It's fake!

Yeah Habbo has got really boring and crap now, it's just full of noobs who scam and everyone is just competing with each other seeing who can be the richest or who can be the most well known and stupid stuff like that.

I've decided to leave about month ago due to my important Diploma course work and other important stuff coming up. It's time to call it a day and sell up.

Habbo won't last for too long anyway, a few more years i would say.

I think It's changed because habbo has got alot bigger and more well known, so theres lots of new users constantly joining, these huge numbers of new users outnumber the people that have been playing a while, so then the hotel becomes full of immature 10-13 year old noobs and all of the older users get tired of habbo because of this and leave. Meanwhile the people at sulake don't care because they have got people joining and buying credits, as long as they are making money they don't care how crap the hotel is, they just add new bull **** features every few months to keep noobs playing.

Well thats what I think anyway.

I prefer to enter competitions now & sit around in help desks/chat & discussion rooms rather than sitting in casinos which I used to do quite a lot. Can't be arsed with all these 13/14 year old kids thinking they're hard as f*** over the internet acting like little net gangsters.

    I'm 14 but I don't go around thinking I'm all hard.
Mind you, I grew out of Habbo about a year ago.

No offense, but all these threads are, are cry outs of how much you love Habbo.

Habbo has many aspects in which people fall under. Greed is a huge one and you don't always have to have stuff to be greedy. Greed can consist in those like this thread who cry out saying it's all about the furni, when in reality, you're pissed because you don't posses anything. No offense, and to be honest I get on these spells once in while where I want something to mess about with and even say I've got something.

Habbo is habbo and Habbo has always acted in the same way. We just have several new things to interact amongst.

Summing it all up, all this you're jabbing about now has always been there. New things have developed, causing new aspects for habbos to fall under.

IT USED to be all about trading and casinos, because that's all there was. Now, there's tons to be all about.

I really get tired of these threads, convos or whatever you classify them as, seriously.

    Thorn:
    Err.. Habbo isn't a game

Its an Online community. A Game always has an end, Habbo doesn't have an end?
About a month back I said to a few mates:
"at the end of the day, habbo is just a game"
One of them took it quite seriously saying that its much more and that and its a social networking site n shiz o.o
I was quite confused because to me, in the five years I've played, habbo has just been a game, nothing more tbh
Just like I would play sims or age of empires

I think people take the game a lil too seriously now, I go on to play a game and have fun, thats not saying I dont take the people Im playing with seriously, ive found some really nice people on it.
