On Angus thongs and perfect snogging it had this "elastic band theory". It basically said that guys like to be close to you one minute, then they need their space the next. When guys need their space we see it as them not liking us as much, so we cling on to them too tight and then that gets too much for them and they act like idiots. When they need their space give it to them and they'll come back when they're ready.
