    So in other words the Confeds cup is just another way of Fifa making a bit of money of TV broadcasters/ticket buyers.

    And I don't expect England to win either, I just said IF. lol

    Not really. It's the best vs the best - it's like the World Club Championship plus it's a way to test the host nation of the World Cup held next year.

    I love this competition. Anybody see the games last night? USA needed a 6-goal overturn to go through and, low and behold, they beat Egypt 3-0 and Brazil beat Italy 3-0 so they went through .

    Italy are the kind of team who never play well leading up the majors but also do well in them.
