That's ludicrous, lol. You can't possibly believe for one moment that the bar causes any such divide. It never did when I worked there under numerous managers. I'm pro-HxHD, I think it's an asset to Habbox and like I previously mentioned it's popular at the moment, which is a huge turn around.

My problem is if you're going to call it a Help Desk then you should have at least one staff member behind the bar. If people come in searching for help and see nobody behind the bar then they're going to leave.

Yes it clearly does, I remember when I wasn't staff (this is going back to like a year and a half ago) I always wanted to go behind the bar, I know it sounds pathetic but because I wasn't allowed there I wanted to go there and obviously as only staff are allowed behind it theres an immediate divide of power and priviliges. You can't always have one person behind the desk, staff do go behind it sometimes, it's just not compulsory anymore and the way the desk is now is fine, there are no problems that need to be fixed, the room is popular, when people ask for help they get it and when people just want a friendly chat they get it. When theres no problem why do we need to debate a remedy?

Allowing them to integrate with the community because after all that pixelated bar does prevent them from doing so is fine but they get into a relaxed state of mind and go BRB constantly. I could single out individuals but I wouldn't do that. If there was at least one person behind the bar people might actually get the help they want.

I first worked in HxHD 3 years ago, getting on that anyway and even when I wasn't staff I didn't have the urge to go behind the bar because it's for staff. If you're a wannabe trialist then you can help from the other side of the bar to aid the staff members. If people want to go behind the bar so much (clearly the staff don't) then why create such a vast divide and completely eradicate the staff area if it isn't supposed to be used.

DJ parties are the main thing that gets hxhd popular.

If a DJ isn't in there then the chances are its either

Me, omgMatt, Sacha, Calvin, Jake (shibz), nic, alex, or someone standing about in there or on a rare occasion you or :mobile is in there and several other staff..

@ jake, usually staff will come in sit down and afk, so they get a +1 in their reports as their active.

But the fact HxHD has done nothing but go downhill help wise and nothings going to change that, no matter what happens the final result will be, HxHD will fail. It's just a matter of time.

The desk was minimised for the purpose of staff talking to visitors on a more relaxed basis and moving into the main room more and more, the desk is still used, just not as it used to be as staff have had to adjust to the new desk which they have done very well. Whether staff are behind the desk or not, people still get help regardless.

Every fansite room has it's usual guests, that just shows that people go there often because they enjoy spending time there. DJ parties happen rarely and the room is usually popular without them so please don't talk such dribble.

A DJ holding a party in the room is not rare if you took the time to go in there love.

I don't need to believe it, it's true. I'm in there loads thank you very much but i'm sure you're in there 24/7 so you know exactly who goes in and when they go in. If you look at the time table for habboxlive you will see that there are only a few DJs that actually use the desk for parties and they don't use it every single time they DJ. There is probably 1 HxL party in the desk per day at the most and obviously it will be popular then but that's not the only time it is popular.

I personally think HxHD should be closed and changed into a lounge.

As there is rarely an actual need for Help (even when there is the staff are afk/not in) and its ruining the HxHD name as it used to be good, well ran, very popular, and have a positive effect on Habbox.

But dragging it on when its going to fail is just going to ruin the name HxHD which many managers worked on.

A lounge of something would be more suited with decent staff in there as moderators to kick rule breakers etc. then when HxL parties in there you can't complain as its a lounge and no-one needs help anyways so.
