My current PC can't handle it - Mind you my current stupid pc won't even work for half my games since Direct x 9 refuses to work properly ;l

May I just ask what you do like in computer cases. I like sleek modern things, or black.

Thanks for the images and advice guys, I'll look into it before I get more money. Going to save up 1000. And use the same build as N!ck gave thread starter.

What kind of games are you intending to use Niall?

    ---

I am also intending that getting a better build will save having to buy a new [pc every couple of years.

Once made, would I be able to UPDATE it later on?

Mostly Team Fortress 2, Left 4 dead, though if I get a proper gaming rig I'll get many more games, the only reason I play those two at the moment is because my computer is rubbish and can't run anything else.

Yes, that case would be fine. It comes with a 450W PSU which will need to be tossed aside as it's no good for you.

That was just an example of the type of thing I like

I probably won't get that as the room it is going in is red

    Wouldn't match

The source engine is designed to run on naff computers, it's why it's such a damn good engine. Also it was made in 2002 .

Also building PCs is easy, I wasted money and bought books about it (Waste of money tbh), basically if the cable fits then it's where it goes (Hopefully)
