    Thanks for posting the comparison I was looking for one, if I remember correctly there was a big price jump from Home Premium > Professional anyway.

    I'll go for Home Premium probably, Professional just doesn't have any useful features for me.

    It looks like Play.com are getting in on the action now:

    They even say on there that it won't be shipping with Internet Explorer, which looks like more than ebuyer has to say on the situation (I can't see a page on Windows 7 at least, just Vista products with free upgrades).

    EDIT: I'm assuming the full version works like an upgrade that you just chuck in the computer and hope it installs? I've never played with an Operating System in that sense before and it's only just dawned on me
