im comfortable talking about it round mates but its always oddly awkward round family.

Don't have a problem with it, but I don't really talk to many people about sex and even then it rarely comes up, we just aren't really interested in each others sex life

when i was growing up sex was something that was not shielded from the kids. i didn't know exactly what it was growing up, but i know my parents had sex at my birthday party once, it was a sleep-over and my room was close to theirs, and it must have been rough because their bed was hitting the wall and i remember my friend asking me what was happening and i was like i dunno, they're sleeping? i also remember when i was little my mom and dad would go into their room, sometimes on my dads lunch break and i guess.. do stuff. LOL, i can talk about ANYTHING with my mom and not many people can say that!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

Not really, my parents are very approachable and I can talk to them about anything cus they're nice like that. Though obviously there are situations where talking about sex is inappropriate like in a creche.

I don't find it embarrsing, me and my friends are all open towards sex anyway so for us we talk about it like you'd talk about anything esle just normally. As for the family part I don't mind it I speak to my mum about sex and stuff it's not awkward just funny

not really, its just one of those things that I think there is a kinda stigma about it which makes people really uncomfortable. there is the odd situation where talking about it would be horribly inappropriate.
I personally don't mind talking about it but quite a few of my friends and such find it a really uncomfortable topic.
