If you come back onto this thread nvrspk I'd just ask what your views are on the NRA having such a tight grasp on gun law in the US despite having only 3 million members out of a 303 million population. I cant work out how that gives them such influence.

In Britain guns have been thoroughly regulated over a number of years which means coming under the possession of a firearm is difficult and rare, to legalize such a thing would have a reverse effect as the country would have to adjust to such a dangerous law.
Your deluded then if you think guns are regulated in the United Kingdom, guns are incredibly easy to get and even in my home city of Liverpool was had Rhys Jones shot, and the other day another child/teenager was shot in the leg. Guns are easy to get in the United Kingdom and most gangs have possesion of firearms or knives.

I made this point and i'll make it again; by banning guns you ban the law abiding majority from self defence and that then leaves the criminals with the guns, thus being in control in a situation such as a break in.

Civil England would then have the right to protect itself against criminal England, thus making the fight equal. If guns were legalised with law abiding people, they would not go out and start shooting people like these criminals crackpots do.

If you do not like the idea of guns then you would not have to buy one, as for the rest of us; we'd sleep sounder in bed knowing if any scum attempts to harm our family we have the means to fight back.

What makes incidents like these so highly documented is that they are isolated events which dont happen often. Gun crime in the USA happens frequently in the streets of cities like Philadelphia, Oakland, Baltimore and parts of New York. Most citizens dont bat an eyelid as firearms are so readily available due to constitutional right, over here its completely different and I'm glad about it

Legalize guns over here and there'd be more gangs, more crime and more homocide.
    something.

They do bat an eyelid, it is all over US television. A murder is often highly documented in either country, at the moment in the United Kingdom there is a unfair balance between the bad guys being armed and the good guys not being armed.

As I said before, if a criminal wants a firearm they will get a firearm - its no hard task for them to aquire a firearm.
