    The rule:

A8. It is not allowed to talk about adult subjects like sex – Graphically describing sexual acts or acts of violence is not allowed.
Meaning, if you are actually describing sexual acts then that is not acceptable. But simple talk or discussion like the threads you have posted are acceptable. We do have borderlines and exceptions for these sort of situations. Unless I'm truly missing something here?

I personally don't see a problem with the rule or how it's put into practise. Discussing sex is allowed, you can go on about how many partners you've had, when you last did it etc but you just can't go into how it felt, what exactly happened and descriptions of how it actually went (Graphic details).

I think it'd be inappropriate for people to describe in detail the events of having sex, if you want to do that then go on another forum?

You should stop catering for 11-14 year olds when in fact no one that age uses the forum.

The age range is 15-18 and im sure they dont have problems reading / talking about that stuff

Ha, 3 of the threads are mine can see nvr/invincible's point.

Duno the way i've taken the rule is that you can speak about sex so long as you dont go in to detail about the act itself, so while mine were more based around asking whether people have sex, how often things like that, the thread that was closed was asking more about the act itselfs, asking people to describe it (or at least how it feels)

The rule's boundrys are a little bit odd in this sense, so i can see why this threads made, The fact the forums main age group has got signicantly older speaks to this (or at least the age group likely to view the non-habbo forums.) 16 is the legal age for sex, so after that point talking about sexual issues cant really be made out to be a big deal.

As the poll shows, the over 16's are in a big majorty now outside habbo based forums. So my suggestion would be to maybe take relationships or one of its subforums, make it so posts/last post etc cannot be seen from outside the forum (doesnt show last post details, just private) Add a big warning about the content then maybe in this forum relax the boundrys a bit. This all depends on whether or not there are any mods around old and mature enough to look after such a forum and with enough sense to make good judgement calls on whether things are appropite or not.

This is just one idea, maybe theirs a better one

Yeah maybe four years ago when the forum started the age was 12-15 but its four years later and they still think that when it clearly is not true.

    Agreed

The rules are slack on it as it is tbh, just don't push it too far?
