It has such a large viewing angle you don't need to be lieing down to use it.

yebbut it'd screw your neck up really badly if you were just sitting down looking upwards for hours.

This is one of them ideas thats quite good, but at the same time really bad.

You would hurt your eyes and neck looking at it for long periods of time.

You would constantly be worrying about '**** what if this thing falls on me!?' and if it does, it is going to hurt... a lot!

What about plugging the TV in? I dont know about anyone else but I dont have plug sockets on my roof, mine are down by the floor which will be a problem.

How would you fix it to the roof? Roof's arent strong because they are not made for walking on LOL. But If you were on the top floor of your house I guess you could fix it to a roof beam.

Dispite all this, id still like one , but not a 98", maybe a 26" or something that wont squash me if / when it falls off

    Lol.

I'm pretty sure my ceiling would have a 0% chance of holding that (it would basically cover my room's ceiling anyway) and I really don't fancy the morning I discover the built in wake-up call .

Tbh whoever fits it in your ceiling will basically be done for manslaughter sooner or later.

They reinforced the ceiling and from what I understand they made connection points to the projector at wall level.

Can't they just have a plug socket in the attic/ceiling? Considering that's where the wires for the wall sockets come from? Seems like alot of bother re-wiring into a wall when really a small socket could be made on the ceiling or inside it (depending if you really feel the need to turn the switch off)
