I used to think that you couldn't turn a car around the corner unless you indicated, like unless you indicated the steering wheel wouldn't turn all the way around . The thought didn't last long after my Granda turned around a corner without indicating, thought we were going to crash when he did, I was ******** myself !

Believed these all at some point in my life as a kid, some for a while, some for only like a few days or so.
Omg I can relate to all of them apart from the Animorphs book thingy. Also, I remember thinking that babys where born out of females bums because our reception teacher told us. But even before that, I thought you could buy babys from the shop, never thought that they where born.

I had these two lol, and also there was some series of books where the kids could turn into animal (not Animorphs) but you could only unlock this power if you first did it when you were aged 7 or under, and anyone younger than that wouldn't have been able to read these books so I was like WHY TELL ME NOW :@:@

-That when you got married you would have to get rushed to a hospital to have a baby
-There was a monster living in the front room curtains
-The fairy on the top of the Christmas tree was real (Once I got a chair to try to reach it, left the room, came back and it was on top of the fireplace!)
    -Fairies were real

I used to think that just because old films/old video footage and photos of early 1900s were in black and white that the people during that era were also black and white.

I used to think, still wonder really, that people might view colours differently so one person's blue might be another's green. I would get really into it, deciding that there would be no way to tell because they would be consistent, all the shades of blue would just be shades of green so they'd still be able to identify it as an individual colour but it might be totally different to the way someone else sees it.
