If I was to get a mac of some sort, first thing I would do would be to dual-boot it with Win7...

MattGarner is all over it!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
I use windows. I'd use a Mac for photo's. Because although windows has Adobe CS4, Mac can still install this software and also has apeture. Having said that, I still like windows XP, but wouldn't dream of using Vista. For the Mac I still would use the same software and equipment as I would with a PC though. E.g. Word, Notepad, NORMAL mouse (contains a right click). But still I prefer chunky keyboards to ones on a laptop. Even though I use a laptop most of the time. (Runs on Windows XP, preparing to wipe the hard-drive and install Windows XP Barebones.)
So both brands have key features to them, they are very different and it depends what you are using your system for. For the purposes of my computer, I would tend to drift towards Windows and use a Mac for photography hobbies.
superhappy.
Mac is a brand of computer, not an operating system? Unless you conicder, dell, hp and asus operating systems too?
O/S wize i'm happy with whatevers going, mostly linux and windows as they are what i would concider true O/S's (OSX in my opinion is not a true O/S but instead ranked as just a very good console o/s - this is purely becuse like a console o/s osx has no offical support for any hardware other than its own)
I'm also not a big fan of the whole universal toolbar working idelogy, i find keeping my toolbars locked to applictions is far more productive - espeally when working in a multiple moniter set up
Linux atm is my fave as i can make it work how i wanted it to, the x windows system also rocks :p Vista comes nexted, followed by xp, and then probably osx for the eye candy :p
Not tried windows 7, which will probs end up pretty close behind linux![]()
