and I got my cartilage pierced last Tuesday, it's kinda all swelled my ear up but meh, it doesn't hurt that much I just need to clean it more.

For a guy, the only piercings they should EVER considering getting are ears and nipple; eyebrow at a push!

my next piercing would probably be upper cartilage.

I personally wouldn't get it. I only have my ears pierced, and I'm considering nipple.
