But thats not worth it compared to the effort it'd take for Jin to install and config it plus make sure it doesn't slow down the forum. and at what cocaine said, you dont have to C+P most links, just clickies.

Useless feature to have on a forum imo, its just something flashy... Flashy like the Flashchat. You can see the comparison I'm making here.

why are people never content on this forum? just post a link if you want to show something to someone, and if you're that lazy that you dont want to copy and paste a link, then just get off the internet.
Summed it up in the first post.

I've used forums with this hack installed, and it's damned annoying every second post containing a YouTube video. It's not hard to just link to the damn thing.

If it happened to help people with slower internet to stop them having to open another page, it would increase loading times on pages anyway.

I think it'd be a good idea, maybe if it had its own section?

I think it would need to be heavily moded though

They should make a new video or youtube catergory and only enable videos in that section

This thread should basically be renamed to, 'Can we replace the Spam forum with a YouTube forum?' because that's what will ultimately happen.

As for the lag issue; when I click a YouTube link it has opened and started playing within two seconds max. If anything, it would just lag up the forum whenever you open threads with one or more videos in it.

Actually, it would ultimately make them slower.

HXF would suffer very little adding some Javascript. However, client browsers would (especially when loading 3+ flash apps on one page) take a big hit.

I forgot to mention, I wouldn't like to be responsible for moderating hundreds of videos every day tbh.

Mods would be required to watch any video they came across beginning to end to ensure none of it broke the forum rules. It's seriously never going to happen.

alot higher than clubhabbo yet they get it.

its a good idea and wont be over used. If you think it will, only allow vids in specific sections :S

Such as not allowing it in spam cos then it will be over used.
