In my opinion its the wrong decision, david should have got it unless he did not want it.

i remember ben leaving 1 or 2 times and then coming back within a week? and whenever you post anything about a department he always gets into a mood for some reason and is negative.

I left once, then realised id made the wrong decision, came back :S

I cant remember ever getting in a strop about anything concerning my department

David has clear favourites. I do feel for him a bit because he worked under me, years ago and yet he still isn't manager. I think management just know how temperamental he is and unfortunately current management are frightened of controversy. They would make the wrong decision to please the users. Not in this case. I knew Ben would get either Manager or assistant because he deserves it, I even posted it somewhere in spam.

David doesnt have favourites at all Jake you know that. he works his ass of in HxHD, hes worked for years showing his dedication, i cant see how you can say that Jake after all you did to him...

i fired him? so... at the end of the day i'm in hxhd more than most and i've seen this first hand. don't get me wrong i like dave and have a laugh with him but i don't think he's management material. he's been fired a couple of times i think and caused much negative controversy. my opinion is cleary shared with general management who have over looked him again and again. he's a good staff member though.

You fired him for sticking up for kicking me because you disliked me :S
I dont know the other reason for him being fired but i know that was one of them, I think he could be manager material but surely thats what assistant manager role is for to make sure they are in their correct job role. i mean its like hes the most loyal HxHD member and one after one he doesnt get close to getting a higher job. just seems steep and uncalled for.

I got permission from ---MAD--- at the time. David still has the PM of his dismissal, I'm sure he could forward it to you to enable you to find the genuine reasons rather that the mere speculation you have heard. I'm sure if he relaxes and gets noticed through hard work rather than engaging in arguments he'll get the promotion.
