It's miles better. No, I've only seen half of Code Gayass because it was the biggest waste of time ever. I gave it a chance but even after 13 episodes I still failed to see any merit in the show at all.

Havent seen CG. Death Note was awesome. but when it got the Viz treatment i was slightly put off it. But for what it is. its good. For a an anime not about powering up and ninja pirates its number 1, just when u take into account for all series Dn is lower down on the list

That's the thing though. I've said this before and I'll say it again - a series that has failed to get my attention after so many episodes can't possibly redeem itself. A good series should at least show some promise within the first couple of episodes, but unfortunately, in my opinion, I don't think Code Geass did.

Fyi the scores on myanimelist are rubbish. The top ten is constantly trolled by users creating multiple accounts to boost or reduce the scores. Legend of the Galactic Heroes once went down to like 150th and now it's first. Gurren Lagann also dropped from 9.01 to 8.95 in one day. Clannad After Story is also at like second. I mean come on... Clannad is only mediocre. The top anime list on that site is not to be trusted, though I do love seeing the new ten minute long Gintama OVA at 31st. Also, Death Note used to be a lot high than Code Geass if you want to use myanimelist to try and prove a point. Death Note was once first.

Hard to believe people actually do that, they must lead fun and eventful lives just to bend a website's scores. But I could see it happening...

But it can also be down to just personal opinion. I gave Claymore a 10, I know a lot of people will disagree with me on that. I also gave Death Note a 9... it's all down to personal preference.

Of course it is, thats what I'm always saying, but differences in personal preference create nice debates. I'd give Claymore a ten if it ended after the Rigardo fight with confirmation of a second season coming soon, but the filler ending was just terrible. I gave it a nine, but I'm currently re-watching it and think the score should probably be lower, perhaps an eight. Is myanimelist even working? It won't load.

Myanimelist is down... and yes the ending was bad and they've basically messed up any chance of being able to make a second series, but I'm just ignoring them episodes when I give it my score.

I think the people who made the Claymore anime should erase the last few episodes from existence, and then make series 2.

I can't remember what series it was, but there is a series that had a filler ending and a second season was made a couple of years later which ignored the last few episodes of the first season and continued from before the fillers started. They should totally do that for Claymore. I don't think they'll be a second season any time soon though seeing as how the manga is monthly. Needs so much more material. It should be an OVA like Hellsing Ultimate, where a new episode is released like every four months or so and the episodes are 45 minutes long.
