Nope. you wont need. I've trained there for over 20 levels and they have never even hit a 3. But just dont attack the soliders or the lvl 64 wolves on the way.

hehe i teleported out to varrock because i ran out of runes im guna bring armour and weapons aswell when i go back in 10mins
