Speaking of which I've just ordered Final Fantasy 7, X and X-2 all off eBay for £35. All original editions too!

I love the classics as much as any other real gamer, but the new games, despite not having that great feeling, I love them Thats why I prefer them.

What do you mean real gamer? You don't have to like classic games to be a "real gamer" personally I get sick of classic games because they're repetitive

I couldn't get past the first level. I did play it when I was about 10 though.

Yea I suppose, but thats just who I am I agree with you, but sometimes if you leave a game for a bit and go back to it, you can pass a level you were stuck on.

Of course alot of games can be repetitive but classic games generally get boring real fast, such as pac-man, tetris, frogger, etc. then the not so classic games like Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, I don't much get bored of some of the more recent games as easily as I get bored of those games, there are some exceptions though. Insults on the internet are pointless. It only takes a bit of common sense to figure that out. But then again, common sense isn't so common.

In my opinion Final Fantasy 4 demolishes any other game out there today. The top 10 best rated games of all time still to this day contains classics like Ocarina Of Time, Super Mario 64, Final Fantasy 7 etc.
I prefer those 3 games alone to most of the current gaming market.

They are arcade games that aren't made to keep you interested. I think Paul is talking more about games such as Super Mario Bros, the original Sonic games and other NES/SNES classics.
