    You should not be waving a soldering iron anywhere near your computer You can install everything in your computer without the use of a soldering iron.

    The only time you'd use a soldering iron is if you were doing some extreme modding that requires you to physical alter/add something to the PCB which 99.99% of PC users (Including those who build and/or overclock their PC) won't be doing

    You try soldering a mini-USB connector back onto a PCB!
