Read up on the argument I made a while ago.

    http://habboxforum.com/showthread.ph...55#post6068055

I really don't think you're a casual gamer, most casual gamers can stick with less than one game every 3 months. They're the type of people who only really game on core games like MW2, or some of the Mario titles on the Wii.

By all means, you could be just be a middle-ground, which I think is leaning more towards core gamer.

    Damn gaming being divided.

I'd get a PS3 if you're a casual gamer though, and have the money, I know all the arguments of online wotsits but we have Facebook and you can put Twitter into your doodoo. I'm not going to make the argument that it's free anymore, because things might change. For the better.

Well since you ask which one is best for casual gamer and you only play a couple of games at a time then I have to say PS3, or you're paying for an online subscription you don't even need. And the games you quoted aren't console exclusive either. The PS3 online mode is still pretty decent and for games like mw2 you can't compare the online because it works the same way.

Then keep the ps3. Blu-ray as an added bonus, no need to lose your cash when trading it in.
I'm sure the gameplay is just as good online as it is on xbl.

even though i play my 360 more it's just because of the convenience factor of it being in my room

if u buy an xbox u gotta pay another 60 for the wireless router and then 40 for a years xbl

ps3 u already got it all for free + u got the added bonus of blu ray

Why do you think you need online to make a system. I've been playing my 360 this week far more offline than I have online. I've been going through Mass Effect again and that has consumed over 20 hours of my time offline. That is another reason you should buy a 360, Mass Effect :eusa_clap
Your all exaggerating about the online cost. £40 a year is nothing, you get what you pay for. PSN is terrible coming from XBL. When I played Modern Warfare 2 it seemed that 1/3 of the games disconnected, this happens I'd say 1/10 of the time on 360. It isnt my connection as everyone disconnects. I've have to update my PS3 for over 2 hours and I've only had it one week. They're basically the same though but I prefer my 360 seeing as it has exclusives I want.

Depends which of your mates have ps3 and xbl and what your gonna use it for. If your gonna be just a gamer person and play with your mates go for whatever they have. But then ps3 works out cheaper if your gonna buy wireless xbl extra controllers a good headset etc.
