Can I ask how often did you do this?

Nose strips like 2-3 times a week.

Toothpaste i do every 3 days before i go to bed but dont sleep with it on otherwise you get toothpaste everywhere an you wake up with mint in your eye

Biore pore strips are amazing :] They're not cheap though, well when your broke like me they're not.

I agree with the kettle thing, but for me I filled my sink up with completely boiling water, no cold water at all, and stuck my head over the sink and covered my head with a towel. I usually do this once or twice a week, even if I don't have blackheads, because it cleans out your pores.
You know if the water's hot enough if you can feel the steam on your face and your face begins to feel almost sweaty from the rising heat after a few minutes.
After you've done the above, get your middle finger (so you don't apply too much pressure) and just rub up and down around the blackhead, this loosens it, and then it should hopefully come out, if not, don't keep prodding it as you'll make it red and sore, just keep trying it until it does come out.
And make sure you have clean fingers,
