the fact that O'Neill and whoever supports it shows what ambition their clubs obviously have. they both have the basis to brek into the top 4 but they'd rather not work a bit get a better team and go all out to get it.

But to get a better team, we have to get top 4 otherwise no "better" players than we already have will even consider joining us.

To be honest look at us. How many of our players came to the team for CL football? Hardly any. Most were bought as unknowns and on the cheap and brought up and trained to form the team we have today. There is absolutely nothing stopping Villa, Spurs and Everton doing the exact same thing and all 3 have actually done that to a large extent. All those teams need is a little bit more and they will have the team for a top 4 place, but if you can't get that place over a 38 game period, then you don't deserve it. End of.
