Apparently you can learn to drive in Alberta at 14, you can get your actual license at 16. That would be awesome.
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
I think the age to learn should be 16, then test at 17.![]()

I hope the driving age doesn't increase!
I've been waiting ages to drive and I've still got a couple of years left, if it gets risen I will not be happy!![]()
I grew up thinking the driving age was 18 lol. I'll laugh so much if this rumour is true though because my brother was born in '94 :L
this happens EVERY year
i remember my sister panicking, then my brother, then my year
its proper lame how people believe it every year seriously
Its a load of crap. thats been around years, happens every year and it isnt true, it will stay at 17.
It's just rumours. It was even going round when I was 16. I think driving age is fine at 17, I think lowering it to 16, although it would never happen, would be stupid. There'd be loads of ******s on the roads. (yes, when I was 15/16 I wished the driving age would go down too.. looking back it's nonsense.)
i'm the star in the reasonably priced car!
It is 16 here to get your learners. Then once a year is up you are allowed to go for your "New Drivers" licence which allows you to drive by yourself.
I believe that it would be far too late to have the driving age at 21. It will create mass confusion and it would just be.. pointless. Although people even at 16 are immature (and always will) raising the age to 21 probobly wont solve any problems.
Yes, it HAS to be a rumour lol.
yeah it's true, this is the oldest rumor in the book designed to annoy people who are in the younger half of the school year.
