last.fm wasn't really made for listening to music though.. it was made for people to keep a track of their listening history and compare with friends other people.
it also has a very very very good recommendation system.

so yeh youtube is better for listening, but last.fm is far far superior in what it does best.

Maybe it's because I'm in Canada, but after 30 minutes of using last.fm it made me pay $4 to continue using it.

I subscribe, though it would be better if I could just search for a song title to play it. You can now but it plays from youtube.
