When I did psychology we were given sample papers for the new specification that was going to start the next year. Bearing in mind most people in my class got C/D/E for AS about half the people got B when they tried the new spec.

AS Law: A - highest achieving in the year. Only about 8 people got higher than a D, out of 60. Ridiculous to be honest.
AS Sociology: B - disappointing, but two marks off of an A, so I shouldn't need to retake providing my family module goes alright.

Which exam board do you do? Would be interesting to know. I can tell now that its not WJEC.

This is how my psychology result went:

    1st try: E
    1st resit: C
    2nd resit: C
3rd Resit: Very very high A

My teacher got all the 4 papers, all exactly same answers but all different grades. She rang them up to complain, they said they cant discuss their marking >.< and to make a formal complaint. Idiots.
I mean for one of my answers, I got 4 marks when someone wrote exactly the same as me got full marks (12) :S. Worst exam board ever.

OCR, the exams are ok but the syllabus is a bit crap.
