No i'm not, so just post it on the forum.Here it is, our review of Inception, written by our special guest reviewer Zoe Margolis, who is the award-winning author of the best-seller Girl with a One Track Mind. She also worked with Nolan on Batman Begins. You're all going to want to read this.
Just came back from seeing it. I thought it was epic. Quite a long film, but time just flew by because I enjoyed myself so much. The ending was done really well, especially when;
The little metal thing kept spinning as though it was never going to stop, but then just before the end it began to wobble as if it was going to topple to show that he wasn't dreaming and it was reality. Just before it happened though the screen when black and the credits rolled; so we never knew whether he was still dreaming or not (sequel maybe?)
This film does look very good, and very intriguing!
I'll probably go and see it.
i'm out of touch, i'm out of love
i'll pick you up when you're getting down
and out of all these things i've done
i think i love you better now
I was going to see it today but decided I'll just have a lazy day and do nothing instead. I'll go see it on Monday along with Toy Story 3.
Just went to see it, was good
^ Just back too lol. It was a good film, story was original as far as anything I've encountered and the effects were amazing. The story itself was quite complex and I think I'd need another couple watch throughs to get better aquainted with the concepts and ground rules of the dreamscapes, even though I understood the underlying plot fine.
Specifically, who's subconcious we are meant to be inside in certain scenes and who's doing the extracting etc, again for specific scenes. Because at points I was confused as to whether Cobb was still the architect or it was constantly Ellen Page in every scene after he introduced her to the dream worlds.
One thing which really gripped me was that when they were inside someone else's dream, that person's subconcious knew that they weren't meant to be there and how this was reflected in the looks people gave them within the dream. I thought that was quite a scary concept. Cool though.
