    Bambi without a doubt deserves its place and I also agree with all these;

    Annie Hall
    Chinatown
    Dirty Harry
    E.T.
    The Empire Strikes Back
    Fargo
    Fight Club
    The Godfather
    The Godfather part II
    Gone With the Wind
    GoodFellas
    A Hard Day's Night
    Jaws
The Road Warrior: Mad Max 2
Once Upon a Time in the West
    Pulp Fiction
    Schindler's List
    The Searchers
    Singin' In the Rain
    Some Like It Hot
    Taxi Driver
    The Wizard Of Oz

That's just the ones I've seen. There's plenty there I haven't yet seen but know have a good reputation.

Shawshank has been mentioned but I would have expected a few others such as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Bullitt, The Green Mile, The Big Lebowski, Into the Wild but perhaps some of them are too modern for a list of such classics.
