Totally agree. Gold & Silver's designs were good, but then it just seemed like they ran out of ideas.

Red, Blue, Gold and Silver were all really great and Ruby and Sapphire was another good follow up as the Pokemon all looked like very plausible creatures (Zangoose, Gulpin, Zigzagoon, Wingull, etc), but the new ones just don't look right. It does indeed seem like they have run out of ideas and are just designing big clusters of alien-like things. It's disappointing because we all know they can do much better.

Yeah they getting very digimon like and the ice dragon pokemon looks like a mithril dragon out of runescape

I downloaded a rom but it's so annoying not being able to understand Japanese. I'll probably play through a bit more and then leave it until there's an English translation patch and then buy it when it comes out in the UK.

Just seen some youtube footage, the best pokemon game ever by so much.

1. all the new pokemon are crap apart from the 3 monkey ones
2. No new eevee extremly disapointed in that.
3. heard you dnt get any of the old pokemon in th egame? or atleast at the start. if so i like that will make me use other people then getting the usual ones. Pidgey

5. meh in no rush to play it. still need to finish SS.
